# 3 Tips for healthy reel

Reels can be exposed to all sort of "violence" Take a rainy day and do this:

1.Remove it from the rod and tie the line to the line fasten spool

Wash it with soapy water and a old toothbrush.

Remove the flat bolt i the pinion ( some reel unscrew clockwise)

Remove the rotor

now you have access to the shaft. DO NOT OPEN IT! :}

The bearing are very tiny and if you loose one ( like me) its bye bye reel.

2.Spray the shaft and te bearing box with W-40 silicon. Its water resistant

Clean the rest of the chassis with soapy water and a toothbrush. Do not submerge

3.Dry

Reinstall all component
